“The hotel is advertised as a 4 star and the hotel sign shows this too. There’s parking at the hotel which is great to see and the two reception staff were polite. We noted the good reviews and it may just be that we had a poor experience. Our room was unclean with the carpet appearing not to have been vacuumed for a while. “The room initially looked great having recently been renovated and they had “upgraded” us. The views were incredible. We paid a premium (£380) for air conditioning as it was during the heatwave. We heard running water and realised it was coming from the air conditioning unit which was pouring water out on the wooden furniture and floor. We turned it off and mopped it up with towels.
