The room was clean to a degree. The carpets were soft but a bit dirty. The washroom was extremely dim-lit. I found the sinks to be semi clean with a bit of dirt of the edges. I guess it’s expected due to covid as an excuse for lack of deep cleaning. I’ve stayed at this particular hotel in the past and staying on the ground floor I’ve never had an issue. This time however they put me on the second floor and the air con was so noisy I felt like I was in a room with a jet engine all night. The first night I complained and then the second night they moved me two doors down closer to the pop vending machine and the ice machine and it was much more noisier because of the rooms air con and the machine noise for the pop vending machine. Usually sandman hotels are this bad like good ones in Revelstoke etc but this experience was horrendous. First night complained and the trainee moved us to another room, second night same thing for us again. Third night I gave up as I was staying partial and leaving at 3am so it made no sense to pack up everything again and move to another room. I probably won’t stay here again, complaints to non trainee management fall upon deaf ears. Extremely disappointed.
