Overall a good experience. Staff were very courteous and you could see the attention to detail in the construction of the hotel itself, with high quality fixtures and well considered layout of everything from the lighting to storage space. Even the material of the sink backsplash wall was well thought of, as it’s very important to maintain functionality with aesthetic. As someone who travels a lot, detail is very important, and it is clear that the owner put a lot of thought into the building. However, maintenance and cleanliness needs to be improved otherwise all that effort will go to waste. The floor in particular was not cleaned properly at all, with so much black dirt on your feet if you walked barefoot. The sink drain was also not cleaned. These are small details but very important if the hotel is aimed at a certain level of guests. Special mention to the breakfast staff who were very polite and friendly.

Great location however the hotel lacked maintenance & rooms need a thorough clean. Floors were sticky, towels stained & our rooms had a terrible smell. The breakfast was terrible. Some staff were helpful but I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Narayan Kothi, Varanasi for 2 nights and overall had a comfortable and pleasant stay. The rooms and hospitality were good, and we enjoyed our time at the property. However, there are some areas that need serious improvement, especially food quality and service follow-up. I ordered Dahi Kebab during the stay, after which I suffered food poisoning. The hotel should urgently review its kitchen hygiene and food quality standards. I had also ordered plain moong dal for my 7-month-old daughter, but it was prepared with rice mixed in it. When I took the food back to the restaurant and raised the concern, the staff denied that anything had been mixed. This was disappointing, especially because baby food needs extra care and clear communication. On another night, the team forgot to send the moong dal order altogether, and it finally arrived after around 1 hour 30 minutes. This kind of delay is difficult to manage when travelling with an infant. Also, the hotel team clicked our welcome pictures on arrival, but when we later asked for them, we were told they had been lost. This was disappointing, as guests expect such memories to be handled carefully. Overall, the stay was comfortable, but the hotel really needs to improve food safety, baby food handling, communication, and service reliability.

DA EVITARE ASSOLUTAMENTE. Non vale quel che paghi, la camera era terribilmente sporca, il personale non parla inglese e non è stato in grado di aiutare. Abbiamo preso una camera con vista parco che non corrispondeva alle foto ed il parco era un cantiere in costruzione. Aggiungo anche, spero sia stato un caso sporadico, che un agente di polizia in cerca di qualcun altro ha sbagliato camera ed ha provato ad entrare nella nostra senza bussare, a nulla sono servite le nostre lamentele.

Hotels.com経由で予約済みにも関わらず、予約確認出来ず。スタッフの対応は高圧的で、Hotels.comのAIサポートも役に立たず途方に暮れた。スマホのサイト内の予約確認と領収書で何とかチェックイン出来ましたが、用意されたのは本来予約した部屋ではなく、館外に増設されたコテージタイプ。天井が高くて快適でしたが、木造で壁が薄く、隣りの部屋の話し声や物音、レストランでの夜のパーティー、更には道路に面しているため夜中の野犬の吠えなどで、3泊中2泊は眠れず。バルコニーはあるが、日中は暑いし蚊が多くてとても居られない。椅子に座ったら、クッションの底から釘が出ているらしく、痛みで気がついて枕を追いクッション代わりにして何とか座れた。 設備は、持参したコンセントのアダプターでも電圧が弱くて機能せず、USBポートからの低速充電で何とか凌いだ。ヘアドライヤーがないためリクエストすると持って来てくれたが、何故か翌日回収され、次の日は使えず。ハウスキーピングは基本無く、リクエストベース。スタッフはいつも笑顔でフレンドリーでしたが、ホテルの総合的な質としては平均以下。本館の方は分かりませんが、コテージはお勧めしません。
