“The cottage was perfect for us as a couple. It was clean, cute, and had all the amenities we needed. The Grover family did a great job decorating the cottage and leaving helpful notes throughout the cottage. It was close to the airport and only an hour from Bar Harbor.”

“Stayed the night after a concert at Maine savings amphitheater it was a perfect place to stay for a good location to the amphitheater and to the airport. Cottage was very detailed with all the amenities needed for our stay! Everything was very clean and it was the perfect size for my husband and I, host communication was great! Would definitely stay here again!”

“The house was sparkling clean and so easy to navigate around. The view from The front of the house is spectacular.”

“A beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the Pond. Hospitality was exceptional, location was convenient and desirably secluded. The furniture was comfy and kitchenette furnished well.”

“Loved our cabin. Wish we were staying longer.”

“Enjoyed the property, close to things we wanted to do in the area.”

“This cottage was a perfect home base for our Maine vacation. We did the Stephen King tour, a day trip to Schoodic Peninsula, and explored downtown Bangor. Ivy is an amazing host. Her thoughtfulness and care were so apparent during our stay. The cottage had so many little extra touches we appreciated - lots of outlets, a fan for the bedroom, an umbrella to borrow, Keurig pods and to-go coffee cups, and more. And this is easily the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in! Absolutely delightful.”

“Thank you for accommodating our situation”

“Clean place and host was very responsive to any questions or requests we asked”

“This place is beautiful. Exactly as pictured and clean. It is very private and well prepared for a great stay. Host was extremely quick at answering questions however, we hardly needed him. Highly recommend. ”

“This is a wonderful place which we really enjoyed, but a couple things are not in the listing but should be:1. The water is not drinkable and no bottle water will be supplied. You need to bring enough bottled water to last your entire stay. The water has a distinct odor and metallic/sulphur taste probably because it is drawn directly from the lake or a spring nearby and not filtered or treated. However, it's OK for showering and doing dishes.2. There are a lot of biting insects, probably due to……

“We absolutely loved it. The view was awesome.”

“We loved staying at the chalet during our week get-a-way in Maine! It was beautiful, comfortable, easy to find even though it is remote and very private. We enjoyed the outside area in the woods including the fire pit and hot tub after a full day of tourist activities! Reservation was a breeze through VRBO and communication with the host/s was immediate and professional. A bonus was that it was decorated impeccably for fall helping to create an atmosphere for leaf peeping time. Highly……

“Really enjoyed our stayed, fantastically well stocked and comfortable! When there was an issue the owner responded inside of 10 minutes an it was fixed in a hour.”
