Hotel full, given a room in 2* hotel instead

We made a booking for a night stay at Alloggi Agli Artisti at least a month in advance and phoned the hotel a few days before arrival to confirm the booking is alright. Only when we arrived at the hotel, the staff told us there was no room for us, one staff mentioned something about a plumber working in the room, but another staff said there was a reservation issue with the room. To say the least, we were angry. We were not informed about the problem until the very last moment. The previous two bookings we had with hotels.com were also cancelled but at least they informed us in advance: the first hotel contacted us via SMS a day before check-in, telling us to cancel the booking because of plumbing problems/broken drains at their place; the second hotel sent us an emergency notice via email in the early hours on the day of check-in to say they could not take our booking due to unforeseen circumstances and offered us to go to another hotel for free. Not only Alloggi Agli Artisiti did not call us nor email us about the problem with the room, they sent us to a two-star hotel with an inferior room which was small, with broken air conditioning and no Wi-Fi, it had less facilities than the original room we booked for and their reception guy was grumpy and rude. In short, we paid for a room at 3 star hotel but were given a room in a basic 2 star hotel at the last moment. Would not recommend at all.

no air condition,隔音很差,噪音晚上會讓你無法睡覺you cannot sleep becaouse noise is everywhere,設備老舊,客房沒有打掃.就當作是體驗30年前威尼斯的生活即可.

酒店收取了小孩子的加床费用，因为小孩六岁了，需要一个人一张床，床是一米的单床！一天15欧，觉得还是不错的！

去到該地址的時候發現大門鎖了，後來幸好有住客告訴我們是在對面附近的地方先登記及攞門匙，另外住的地方是4樓，但没有地梯的。要自己行樓下兼抱行李上去，十分辛苦。另外隔音不算太理想，每朝早都會給隔壁的聲音嘈醒，但步行到火車站不用五分鐘確實十分方便。

Vy nice stay

Perfect location of 1 minutes walking to the Market Square. Staffs are vy friendly for your need n helpful. One drawback is no lift n you need to take heavy luggage up the stairs. But overall is a vy nice stay.

沒有電梯房間內沒有廁所跟淋浴間所謂的半開放式就是在外面的公共空間只提供毛巾跟肥皂而已唯一就是離車站近

性價比高的旅店，靠近火車站，交通方便，是一個暫住然後前往其他地市的好地點尚算整潔，適合背包客有機會可再入住，附近有不少餐廳及商店

Budget traveller's choice

Nice Staff, my apartment is in the other entrance of the building, got no lift I need to carry my 20kgs luggage to the 3rd floor, nice room, a lot space in the room got TV, new refridgtraor, got sink, stove, oven, strong wifi. There is a balcony too. Everything is good just no lift.

Nice location

We have asked for lower level of room because of the heavy luggages. However, we get the highest level of the room. No elevator or any help to lift your luggages. Great location, friendly front desk.

Not same as the pictures

There are two separate building with the same address. The building is pretty old in general and it has no lift. Our room was on the third floor. The room was quite dark but provided some general stuff like tea/ coffee/ sugar. And the reception was not that nice! Overall, the pictures shown on the website are not same as the real.

Suitable for backpackers

Great and quiet location right next to train stn. u can drop your bags here then explore Venice right away. Building and rooms are very old, but clean. Water is hot but heater is not warm enough for winter. Reception is located in another building next to the hotel. During my stay, there was some technical issue for Wi-Fi. So no Wi-Fi that i could use. No elevators. shared bathroom. I think it's good for backpackers with limited budget. But if u expect more, go somewhere else.

Without private bathroom

Pros: Hotel is hidden in small valley without any sign, made it little hard to find. But it's super close to train station which can save you lots energy carrying luggage on the bumpy and complicated roads. Cons: Not sure it's me didn't read carefully or what, but the room comes without private bathroom. You need to share with other residents. Ended up we added extra 40 euros per day to switch to room with private bathroom. Make sure before you book it!

在火車站旁的巷子，巷口就是熱鬧的商店街，吃飯搭船超方便!
