“We really enjoyed our stay in Normandie, and this house was perfect for us. We are a family of 4 visiting from the USA. This house is quite spacious and everything is exactly as advertised on the listing. The location being Ver-Sur-Mer is within 30-45 mins of all D Day beaches. We had a great beach day as well at Arromanches-les-Bains (15 min drive). Charlotte and Georges were amazing - very attentive to us. We even started to leave without my son’s bag and with a quick message Georges was……

“A beautifully cared for property in a fantastic location. We booked very last minute (less than 24 hours before we arrived) and Maria from Homerez was able to communicate with the Landlady and the lovely couple who live in the adjoining property to arrange access and linen for us. We were escaping the heat in the UK and although we had very hot weather, the house was well ventilated and cool. There is no air conditioning, but other than one night when perhaps a fan may have been useful, it……

“Beautiful property recent renovations completed for sure, staff was more than helpful, town was so “Old France” and often thought about walking along streets that WWII solders walked. The entire area of Normandy was quite fascinating and beautiful.”

“A lovely old house in a secluded village in Normandy, with a few spacious rooms that have been tastefully refurbished. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is good, although I would have preferred it to be served a little earlier. The one area that could be improved is the amenities, which are almost non-existent. There was no soap, no shampoo, and very little else provided in the room. Nevertheless, the overall experience was very positive and pleasant. The location……

“The property is unique and beautiful. The front desk clerk was friendly, informative and inviting. The food was delicious and had historical charm. The hotel was in close driving distance to all D-day memorials. The surrounding farms, Pommieres and villages/castles were charming. Driving distance to the ocean and beaches. I would definitely recommend this hotel to couples, families or groups travelling in this area. It was a nice retreat from the big city too!”
