Sooke Potholes stay

It was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The hosts had bikes we could borrow to use on the Galloping Goose trail, which was a highlight. Close to walks in the Sooke Potholes regional park.

The unit is very nice and the property is lovely. The unit was nicely decorated, well stocked, and charming. The only issue we had is that we booked through Expedia (because it priced in USDs vs CADs, but we never received check-in details, including unit # and access information. We arrived fairly late and were in a bit of a panic as we had expected to receive a check-in email while en route providing either key code or lockbox code and the specific unit number. We didn't. Fortunately the host was on site and called us back within a few minutes. She said that had we booked directly through VRBO we would have received check-in information, but since we booked through Expedia there was no such email provided. Other than the check-in issue, the stay was terrific, and was pooch-friendly.

Perfect location

We love this location. Absolutely everything you need for a comfortable home away from home. Amazing access to the galloping goose trails. Fire pit is always a hit! We will be back!

Quiet retreat

What a great little spot, so nice and quiet, a wonderful place to relax and enjoy morning coffee on the deck. The space is excellent and laid out well. We really liked the place and the fire station themed wood working was very impressive. Hands down, I would stay here again!

Weekend away

The property was absolutely beautiful . So nice to be able to just walk right out to the galloping goose. The place is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We had a very nice relaxing stay .

If you are looking for relaxation and quiet time this property is perfect. The property has been beautifully renovated by the owners and is immaculate, as soon as i walked in i felt relaxed. We had a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend.

Quiet and comfortable

Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Laura and Steven. The suite is modern, clean, and comfortable, and the property is beautiful. So quiet! Hosts are very accommodating and easy to communicate with. This was our second stay, and we won't hesitate to return!

Heavenly Sooke

Staying at Laura's was so comfortable and lovely. The access to the Goose can't be beat. I was close to all the hiking spots I wanted to visit. The symphony of ravens was a treat, and I even got to see a bear on the trail! Highly recommend for casual comfort, pleasant hosts, and fresh air and long walks.
