New, Quiet, and Bright private detached house with AC.

Vaulted 15’ ceiling creates a large space to relax, work and sleep. Two single bed are accessed via a loft ladder which provides the children with a space of their own. See the bright loving space with two skylights, cedar beams and chandelier. Our 2023 completed house has everything you’ll need including : 75” Tv and 65” TV, WiFi , full size fridge.

This was such a charming little house. It was quiet, clean and comfortable - slept like a baby! Had everything I needed for over a week stay (and more). Was also super nice having the Royal Bay bakery nearby and the lagoon so close. Highly recommend!

Superb property, very well located in a very quiet neighborhood. The house is spacious and we had everything we needed for cooking, even a BBQ.The owner was able to respond to our requests extremely quickly. I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful stay

Driftwood Cottage is a Gem

We had a wonderful stay at Driftwood Cottage! It was clean, quiet, and perfectly outfitted with everything we needed. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with easy access to the ocean, parks, walking paths, and historic sites, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!

Weekend trip with son

The property was private, quiet and very clean. Very good value compared to other options in the area. Owners were friendly but also gave us our privacy. Would definitely stay there again

Hidden gem

This property was an amazing ADU-clean, modern and well stocked. Although the location looks like its a bit outside of Victoria, its close enough to be accessible for day trips, yet far enough away to give you a break from the "city". A short walk to the beach was one of our favorite late afternoon activities. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to others.

Great property!

The property was fantastic and Andrew was extremely attentive to my needs during my two-week stay. The location is great for walking to Royal Roads University (bring your raincoat). I would highly recommend this property.

Lovely property - very clean and well-supplied with all you need during your stay. Lovely garden surroundings and a friendly cat! Easy check-in/out procedure with all details given by host. Host was very approachable, though we did not need to make contact during our stay. Parking was available at the house and it was an easy drive to Victoria and surrounding attractions.The upstairs twin room was fine for us as our party were all fit and over 18 - the ladder was quite steep which might be a concern for anyone with mobility issues or for young children.

Quiet, modern, and close to the beach

I chose this location as it’s close to the beach and less costly than staying right in Victoria. The unit is quite new, tidy and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you’ll need. It’s about a 20 minute drive to Victoria but a short drive to the Esquimalt Lagoon. What a beautiful spot to watch a sunset or stroll along the beach! I would definitely stay again.

Graduation Visit

This is a beautiful property close to nature walks and historic attractions. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to all amenities and shopping. Andrew was very attentive to our needs resupplying and ensuring we had clean linen. The unit is very well equipped, easy to access with good parking. I would highly recommend this rental.

Amazing little getaway

This little cottage was the perfect place to stay! The main bed was super comfortable and the place was spotless. I couldn't believe how quiet and relaxing it was! There is easily enough room for four people to stay comfortably. Andrew was super quick to respond when I had any questions which made the overall stay that much better. I didn't take the opportunity to get out and explore the area this time due to work but will be back in the future and definitley will be sharing the listing with friends and family for when they decide to visit the Island.

The perfect guest house

We stayed during a residency at Royal Roads University and loved that we could walk to and from the house and have off street parking for our vehicle. The house had everything we needed to cook meals in the large kitchen. Andrew has put a lot of thought into the place the high ceilings make the place truly amazing to spend time in. In addition, there were so many extra amenities that we truly appreciated. Would highly recommend!

Immaculate, quiet, well-stocked

We had a wonderful stay in this little house. The house is very clean, comfortable, spacious, attractive, and has all the kitchen amenities you’re likely to need and more. The location is a quiet, suburban neighborhood. A path across the street leads eventually to a small public beach. Hatley Castle and the Royal Roads campus is accessible via residential streets and paths. And just on the other side of Royal Roads is the Galloping Goose bike trail, so you can easily and safely ride directly from the house to many, many miles of path.
