"A Bert nice furst stop on our roadtrip in France a small charming auberge outride a nice restaurant with excellent food. Located close to a canal frequented by small rental boats. We had a nice walk along the canal. Love small genuine places like this. Far from the big tourist hotels. "

"The host was welcoming and easy to communicate with. The home was spacious with 3 bedrooms and a large dining room and sitting room. The kitchen was very well equipped! The outdoor space was wonderful- with plenty of seating and incredible views of the adjacent vineyard, cliffs, and lake!! A perfect place for our group of 6 to enjoy the French countryside!"

"The hosts were incredibly considerate throughout our stay, even offering to cook for us after we arrived late to check in on our first day and offered us several spoils from their garden.However, communication between the host and myself was lacking previous to our arrival. We were unaware that we had to bring our own sheets and towels which we had assumed would be readily available. Although once again they were very accommodating and this was provided at no extra cost.I also feel their listing was misleading. WiFi was not available in the house were staying in, instead you had to stand in the garden a short walk past there house to catch even the most tenuous of connections. This would have been fine if the house had not be advertised with WiFi. They also stated a washing machine as one of the amenities but do not mention anywhere that not only were these appliances tucked away in a garage, they could also only be used at a fee of 10 euros. While this is not a substantial price it was an unpleasant surprise upon my arrival that I would have preferred to be aware of before hand.So while the house was very sweet and our hosts very kind, I wouldn't say our stay was five stars, nor particularly comfortable. "
