“Enjoyed yesteryear charm. Excellent little touches. Be prepared to travel for Cafe's in Rawene. Great to walk the Kohukohu village up past the school to appreciate the wonderful old villas. Most were built in the 1800's. Best to purchase a concession card for ferry travel. Much cheaper.”

We stayed with our two kids and felt right at home. The location is awesome too—really close to the Paihia beach market, which was super convenient. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a spot to stay in Haruru!”

“We were in Paihia for the Jazz and Blues festival and had 7 people staying in the house. Plenty of room for all of us. Great social spaces for hanging out. Great location as we could walk into town. We were all very happy with our stay. Would love to have had the opportunity to cook and dine around the lovely dining table but we were out and about enjoying the festival. Next time.”

It was the ideal spot for a traditional Kiwi holiday.”
