service was good overall but some of the youer staff seemed to be a little out of it, for example when we arrived the receptionist starred at us than starred back at her computer as if it felt like what are you guys doing here, like i don't know maybe checking in for our stay that we had booked months in advance, room cleaning service was good but the first day it was cleaned they didn't add coffee pods or cups after we had used ours and we had to ask for some from the receptionist in the lobby on our way back, and i know normally i never had an issue like that at any hotel in the past. but overall not sure if i would want to stay there again

This is a great budget-friendly option. 10-minute walk to the White House. 30 minute walk to the smithsonians. There's lots of transportation options such as Uber, taking the bus, or renting scooters or bikes. Downside, there's no on-site parking. You do have to drop you off your items, park at a remote location and walk back. Approximately 4-minute walk at a cost of $35 us a day.

I like being directly next door to a Metro underground station, I appreciated being able to check in early and check out late. The new bathroom with a walk-in shower and grab bar made me feel very safe. The hotel is clean and although not fancy - it's in a good area and the staff is nice. My only complaint is the lack of several nearby restaurants.

We had a great time. Only thing that went wrong was getting the wrong address from the hotel for a parking garage. We ended up parking at the closest LAZ parking garage for $34 overnight. All was well in the end.

Trip to see the national mall and surrounding monuments. Excellent location, 7 minute walk to White House. Tattes bakery and coffee shop 1 minute walk. McDonald’s is one block, 7/11 across the street. Metro is next door! Standard room is very small but clean and comfortable, bed and linens were excellent, coffee maker in room. Staff was average. Refrigerator in room. Would stay again but probably opt for a larger room
