Wonderful location in the Navy Yard. Metro stop nearby to go to other areas. Unfortunately located next to the water treatment plant so the walkway on that side of building (on the outside) was stinky & you could smell it outside on the rooftop bar. Also a reading light in our room didn’t work and it couldn’t be fixed due to lack of parts.

This hotel is close to the Navy Yard Metro and is easy walking distance to multiple stadiums. The hotel itself is very cute and I liked our room. The only negative was the pillows. They were very very soft and not in a good way.

The hotel was really nice, it felt like an oasis in the middle of the sweltering DC heat. The room was great, very comfortable and in general all areas of the hotel were nice.

The property was gorgeous and close to the stadium and probably many more things. Valet parking was very backed up so we parked our own car; not a big deal but limited parking. We didn’t eat at the hotel but the next morning we did get coffee as guests and it was 13 bucks for 2 coffees. For such an expensive hotel I would expect courtesy coffee for guests. We did have the in room service but “1 per person” wasn’t enough.

Garbage in the waste basket when we checked into the room. Lack of towels and toiletries, had to call the housekeeping department for it. A couple of the electric outlets had no power when we checked in. Had to call the front deck for repair.

The hotel is nicely decorated, well equipped with amenities, only drawback is that the river view room is a bit misleading and the phone/some of the plugs in the room weren’t functioning. The pictures show a beautiful view but most of the rooms see only a sliver of river. Not a huge drawback but something to keep in mind. Their room service was delicious though, great restaurant!
