Wee Jasper is a small village with a population of around 275 people, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, although it swells to nearly 2000 over the Christmas/New Year period. Its eighty minutes North West of Canberra and 45 minutes South West of Yass nestled not far from the Goodradigbee River and the Hume and Hovell walking track. Wee Jasper is a small village with a population of around 275 people, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, although it swells to nearly 2000 over the Christmas/New Year period. Its eighty minutes North West of Canberra and 45 minutes South West of Yass nestled not far from the Goodradigbee River and the Hume and Hovell walking track. My arrival day was fine but the next day I had to change my room three times. The first room had a faulty air conditioning unit that was leaking water like a tap. This ruined my expensive slipper. I reported the issue to the morning receptionist on the 12th of March. She was incredibly rude and told me to change the room immediately, which was around 9 am. However, I had an appointment scheduled for around 10 am and needed to be ready and leave. I asked if I could change the room in the afternoon but she refused, said either change the room now or use a fan. I was very upset and managed to change the room. After my appointment, I returned to the hotel and took a rest. Afterwards, I put all my dirty clothes in the washing machine but it wouldn’t work. I was so frustrated and again I informed the receptionist. She changed my room again. On the arrival day, when I was checking bed before use, I saw hair on the bed. I would not recommend this hotel or use ever. I travel a lot and throughout my travels history I never had any issues like these." That is all ok as it’s reflected in the rate. The room was very large (it could easily have held another queen bed. It was also a comfortable walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the light rail. The only issues I had were the limited wifi (you get a daily limit which got used up in about 3 hours). A lot of Freeview channels were not available on the tv either. Otherwise, no problem.
