Good: Nice area, easy to find, reasonably convenient location, helpful staff, great price, great parking, good diners nearby, good AC. BUT, room very musty, smelled of urine, very hot on arrival (AC off and window with holes in bent screen open), door jamb split as if it had previously been forced open, puddles in bathroom. I like simple, inexpensive, funky motels when I just need a place to sleep but this was smelly and seemed poorly maintained.

Best bang for the buck. The hotel needs a good paint job but over all it’s nice.

The room was pretty dirty (of the looks reasonably clean but socks immediately turn black variety) and there were several ripped bags full of trash sitting right outside the door when we arrived, as though housekeeping had once intended to dispose of it but had forgotten. The clerk asked us if we would mind hauling it downstairs and he would be able to dispose of it later so I had to re-bag and dispose of somebody else’s impressively large and messy trash pile. They didn’t have bedding for the pull out bed anvailable. And of course the AC didn’t work in the room. Stay away from here if you can avoid it.
