The room was very clean and though we only stayed for two nights, we came in after day 1 and found that housekeeping had tidied up our room - this was very good of them. The location is quite central - close to the tube and the bus as well as Victoria station and places to eat; also, since it is ...
Great service gave us a “rest room” when our room wasn’t ready upon early arrival Our room is very nice. A 2 bedroom apartment separate from the hotel. That is my only gripe with the room I would have liked it to be inside if the hotel. It is very cold in London right now
Every member of the staff took care of me and was at their best. I'd never received a welcoming email before arriving – from that moment, everything was perfect. I will only stay at The Athenaeum Hotel from now one. Marc
Fabulous staff. Extremely friendly - wonderful service. Great location. Highly recommend.
Hotel was ok ,thought the staff could have been a bit more communicative, bathroom floor looked as though it could have done with a proper clean ,it was ok .Bed were very comfortable and bed linen spotless.
Great staff that were very helpful and wanted to make our stay memorable. My suggestions would be to increase the number of towels in the room, face cloths and hand towels not replaced after the first day just two bath towels for two people. We could easier ask for them but they should be replaced. ...
My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. The staff was nice enough to provide us with free wine and candy on our first night. Their shower was the best one I have ever had.
Only complaint is that the maid skipped me twice because I was there. She said she would come back but never did. My room was never cleaned while I stayed there.
The hotel is not far from Euston, 13 minutes by walking. The breakfast is better than other Holiday Inn hotels I lived, in particular much better than Holiday Inn in USA.
The hotel is nicely situated beside Russell Square, near Holborn and Russell Square stations. Plenty of tourist attractions nearby including the British Museum. The hotel itself is perfectly fine, with comfortable and quiet rooms.
Convenient to Victoria Station and a quick tube ride to anything. Beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom/showers left something to be desired. It was perfect for a hot meal and a good sleep during my travels. I will definitely stay again.
Very nice boutique hotel, quirky and classy. There is a great cafe restaurant and a bar downstairs ( gets busy and make sure you book, even the breakfast.....)
Our stay was perfect! Great location and Amazing lodging. The beds were beyond comfortable and the staff was superb!
I spent two nights on my own and had a small room. It is very basic, but does the job when you have a limited budget. Breakfast is good, with fresh bagels (my favorite!)
Great place to stay if you want to get around London very closes to all the great places to look at. I think it so easy to walk around London. you better go there now it's losing all the old buildings that you just love to see.
