“We absolutely love this little place!!Reminds us of Grandmas house from years past. Check-in and information was great.John has been very responsive to questions. There is a good size yard for walking our dogs.We will be staying here again in the future.”

“It’s not fancy, but if you’re looking for an affordable, convenient place to use as a base for visiting New River Gorge, this worked well for us. Clean, good communication with owner. 15 minute drive to the bridge, restaurants, gas, etc.”

“Interesting and pretty location on the river. Only complaint was loud people above us. But for the price it was lovely.”

“This property was the perfect place to return to each night! The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need and the host was great to work with.”

“We didn't receive any check in information. I messaged the host the day of our stay and requested it. Upon arrival the entire house smelled strongly of mildew. It was incredibly pungent. When I pulled out the sofa bed for our son, it was covered in dead insects. The home did not appear clean.”

“House was as described. It is located off Harper Road. In a great location for lots of activities. There are several choices for restaurants. There is a Kroger grocery store nearby. The house was clean. Nicely decorated. Has in room air conditioning for bedrooms and main room. There is a coffee maker. A few kitchen utensils if you want to cook. Neighborhood is quiet. We had a great stay for my mom’s high school class reunion at Lake Steven’s.”

“As advertised. Clean and convenient to New River Gorge activities. Parking was easy. We would definitely stay there again. However, if stairs are a problem then it might not work for you. Communication was easy and timely.”

“The location was very convenient to lots of things to do. The apartment looked like the photos, and we stayed nice and cool. We felt like the floors and shower needed a good clean. The floors were a bit sticky too. I accidently spilled a little sunscreen on the floor. When I went to clean it up with a paper towel, it turned blackish. The pillows were as flat as pancakes. Overall, the apartment looked nice, but seemed a bit dirty.”

“Great location for a vacation at new river gorge. Has everything you need in this type rental”

“Great stay, great host”

“We loved staying here. It was very clean and it was nice to see that there was things that we usually have to bring such as laundry detergent, soaps and shampoos. That was a plus for us. The only thing we didnt care for was the haul from the road to the house with our luggage. We would definitely stay here again.”

“I'd like to start with, we appreciated a place to stay. Id also like to say had it been warmer my grandkids would have at least been able to play outside. So the yard being there was nice. We did each have a space to sleep. We did experience quite a few issues.Upon getting to the property the front door was not secured, my daughter got there first with 3 little kids, so she waited for me and my husband to get there so my husband could check the peoperty before going in. I did contact the owner……

“This little apartment was perfect for a little weekend getaway! The air conditioning was great and the view was amazing! The house is old and so are most of its appliances, but I think it just adds character! There is a unit above you, which isn’t really a problem, but you can hear their footsteps. Other than that, it was fabulous!”

“This was in a great location and the stay was very clean. Parking was easy, and there was plenty to do nearby. Had a great stay!”

“Our stay was fantastic at this home. There was actually a trundle bed which the kids loved. And Walmart does delivery so that made traveling easy. The other nice surprise was the ping pong table and corn hole in the garage. The pool has a gate and a double lock which was also wonderful. The home is bigger than the pictures show. We went to Ace adventures which was great, highly recommended!”

“This property was absolutely pristine and perfect for a long weekend or even a longer stay. It was exceptionally clean and like new furnishings. Bed was so comfortable!!! We didn’t hear street or any noise from the other units. Parking is less than 20’ to the door. Couldn’t have been any better. Definitely recommend!!”

“The house was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Very comfortable beds and plenty of towels and a great hot shower. Excellent hot tub but a little exposed to the road and neighbors.”

“Just like Grandma's house. Easy access full of charm.”
