Loved the location and pleasantly surprised by the room size and ceiling heights. Our room was very clean and enjoyed the live jazz music at night in the lobby with bar drinks.

I never write reviews but this had to be shared. Room set up horribly. Only one bedside table other side of bed had nowhere to put water or book, no light no outlets couldn't read couldn't charge phone. Might be decent for one person but certainly not for a couple. Air conditioning sounded like a jet taking off every time it went on so impossible to watch TV couldn't hear it. Bed lumpy, pillows equally lumpy. Hotel lobby doors meant to be coordinated to open one after another. Never worked always had to call front desk to open door to let us in. Overall bad experience. They are in the middle of remodel. We stayed in a new room. Hope they can make some adjustments before they finish the job.

Our air conditioning was stuck at 81 degrees. When we talked to the front desk we were told they couldn’t move us to a different room as it would make housekeeping clean an extra room. The front desk person came up to our room and verified that it was broken around 9am but this time she told us they couldn’t move us became they were sold out and had no rooms. (Even though we watched housekeeping clean 3 rooms down the hall earlier. She finally brought us a couple fans and said it was the best she could do for us.

Neat reuse of an old industrial building
I love it when old buildings are reused instead of torn down. This conversion of the Keen Kutter building into a hotel is a great example. Comfortable rooms with character in a nice location in old town Wichita. Highly recommended. (They do have ongoing restoration of the lower floors - so expect some construction - but it didn't impair our visit in the least).
