“This is a really fabulous small hotel. The mostly young staff are wonderful and have really good customer service skills. The room we had was large and warm and really nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable with sufficient pillows and some nice cushions.It was apparent that thought had been put in to all aspects of our stay. There were lovely little touches in the room - biscuits, fresh coffee and a cafetière, an extra blanket, and even recycling facilities in the room itself. We had a vegan……

“An interesting hotel housed in a group of medieval buildings. Lots of exposed beams and narrow stairs. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were very comfortable for the one night we spent there. The food is ok. Nothing to complain about at this price point. Very good value.”

“The hotel is located at the high street and a supermarket is just at the opposite. It is very convenience. The hotel interior is quite old and has traffic noise at night.”

“Staff were bang on and helpful, decor was interesting (and, for me at least, appealing), and the food in the bistro was great. The AC was great and the shower roomy and efficient... A pleasure.”

“Large room, clean and warm. Huge, comfortable bed. Powerful, hot shower. Room onto main road was quite noisy with traffic despite having secondary glazing. Room furniture quite tired but for the price I think it was good value.”
