Sunset Hill is one of two charming houses located at the Texas Retreat. This farmhouse style home is perfect for up to four people** and offers everything for a perfect hideaway. One private bedroom sleeps two with a queen size bed. There is also a new, high quality sleeper sofa in the living room that sleeps two. **There is an upstairs loft that can sleep an additional two people in a queen size bed but is recommended for adolescents only, not for adults or young children. For those who need a little more room, Sunset Rock, a stylish studio home adjacent to Sunset Hill, comfortably sleeps two additional guests.

Looking for an outing, Sunset Hill is about 5 minutes from Wimberley’s Square, Blue Hole, Jacobs Well and Cypress Falls. The Square offers great little shops, chef styled cuisine and incredible swimming holes!
Take a drive to Canyon Lake and rent a boat or jet skis for a fun afternoon on the water. Check out the music calendar at Whitewater Amphitheater and rock out at a concert! Explore New Braunfels and Gruene and enjoy fabulous restaurants and live music. A day of tubing, kayaking, and rafting on the Guadalupe River is always fun. Families and children will especially love Schlitterbahn Water Park and Landa Park. Visit the over 240 shops at the San Marcos Outlet for an endless day of shopping.
Blanco has several popular attractions for outdoorsmen, historians, and foodies. Blanco State Park offers fishing, swimming, and hiking. Visit one of Fredericksburg’s two amazing museums: the National Museum of the Pacific War and the Pioneer Museum. During the summer, make sure to stop by a fruit stand and grab some famous Fredericksburg peaches.
