Fireside Haven is a cozy studio located on a secluded spot RIGHT on the Fraser River, yet is walkable to all that downtown Winter Park has to offer. Dine-out, shop, enjoy coffee at a café, cocktails at happy hour, hike/bike and catch the ski shuttle all within a five-minute walk from your front door!
You will have a king-size bed, queen-size sofa sleeper, full kitchen, bathroom, fireplace, private patio & ski closet.
Our studio is 440 square feet. It is conveniently located on the first floor and is easily accessible to the Fraser River, outdoor space, ski shuttle, Rec-Center and free parking lot. We are a short five minute walk to downtown. The space is perfect for two, but can cozily sleep four (as long as privacy isn’t an issue). We have a king size bed (with a Tuft & Needle memory foam mattress) and a queen size sofa sleeper. The closet has a small area for hanging clothing and hangers. Relax on our private patio with a bistro set for two. We are less than 40 feet from the Fraser River. With the windows open, you can even hear the water flowing. The living space has a reading nook, queen size (leather couch) sofa sleeper, sitting chair and wood burning fireplace (*wood is not provided, but is available for purchase at multiple nearby locations). The full kitchen has a dishwasher, dining space with four bar stools, dishes and glassware for eight, a Keurig coffee brewer, french press, toaster, blender, tea kettle, crock pot, cooking utensils, pots, pans and bake-ware. If you want to stay-in and cook, you’ll have everything you need. Cooking spices, coffee, hot cocoa, tea, coffee mate and sugar are also provided. We have a secure high-speed WiFi network and a 50” 4K Samsung Smart TV equipped with cable and Roku. The bathroom is stocked with toilet paper, Kleenex, a hair dryer, q-tips, shampoo, body wash, lotion, towels, and washcloths. Our entryway has coat hooks and we have a small lockable outdoor ski closet for your gear.
Guests will have access to the Rec-Center, one parking space, as well as the entire condo; with the exception of two owner’s cabinets in the kitchen and a cleaner’s cabinet in the closet.
*The free local bus (The Lift) will pick you up right at the complex (in front of building 22 or at the Rec-Center) to take you to the Winter Park Ski Resort. We recommend downloading The Lift Rider app for real-time bus location and estimated arrival times.

Parking: Due to the small size of the parking lot, our HOA allows permit parking for one car per unit. A permit will be provided during your stay. Should you have more than one car, please utilize one of the three 24 hour overflow parking lots at the end of the street. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Please Note: Our HOA does not allow pets outside from the owner’s personal fur babies. As the owners, we occasionally bring our two dogs during our visits. The unit is professionally and thoroughly cleaned between every stay. However, if you are allergic to dogs, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen free environment.
Travel Delay/ Cancellation: Weather conditions in Colorado can change with very little warning and be extreme. Guest understands and accepts this travel related risk. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund outside of our cancellation policy timeline. The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) exists to ensure that Colorado has a safe transportation system by maintaining interstates and highways. Please check the CDOT website for weather and road conditions.

Guests will have access to the Rec-Center, one parking space, as well as the entire condo; with the exception of two owner’s cabinets in the kitchen and a cleaner’s cabinet in the closet.

Winter Park is a resort destination tucked away high in the Colorado Rocky Mountains and is the closest major ski resort to the Denver metropolitan area.
We find our cozy condo to be a serene mountain retreat from our busy lives in the city. We are confident you will enjoy it as much as we do.
BUS The free local shuttle, The Lift, runs from 7 am – 2 am daily. This free service will transport you wherever you want to go in Winter Park & Fraser. Download The Lift Rider App to view the real-time location of the bus, get estimated arrival times, and set stop reminders. Visit playwinterpark online for more details.
TRAIN On winter weekends, the Winter Park Express “ski train” operates from Denver’s Union Station to the base area of Winter Park Resort. The ride takes approximately two hours. Visit the amtrak website for more details.
CAR Fireside Haven driving times: (without traffic) 1 hour 45 minutes from Denver International Airport 9 minutes to the Winter Park Ski Resort 45 minutes to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park 40 minutes to Grand Lake
The ski shuttle bus pick-up is conveniently located (at the end of the street) in front of building 22. The Rec-Center is located between building 3 and the outdoor playground. The Rec-Center is also a ski shuttle bus stop. No smoking/ vaping indoors or within 15 feet of the building per HOA policy.
Please do not wear ski boots inside. Please use the bench outside our front door to remove your boots before entering the condo.
No pets allowed.
Please use common courtesy and be respectful of other condo residents and guests. Others may have early morning plans. If you have a late night, we ask that you please take this into consideration.
