The cooker has an oven and there is a small freezer compartment in the fridge. The bathroom has a shower with a fixed cabin and a bathtub. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom. Glückstadt also has a great swimming pool and you can take a short trip to the Elbe island of Krautsand. It's a pleasure to be by the water there at any time of year. The beautiful sandy beach is ideal for swimming in summer and for great walks in winter. This destination is only 7.8 km away, but why not take a trip to the Wingst, where the large forest area also invites you to go on great walks. There is also a small zoo, a swimming pool with a water slide and a play and sports park for romping and climbing. There are also two great Icelandic horse stables here, where everyone can find their riding happiness. Wingst also has a great geocache trail. GPS devices can be hired from the local tourist information centre. In Neuhaus you will find a water ski and wakeboard arena. There is something for everyone, from beginners to professionals. The lake has a small beach where you can swim to your heart's content and in Neuhaus you will find the Natureum, an open-air museum. This destination is 27.7 km away, or you can go to Cuxhaven, from where you can take a great walk across the mudflats to Neuwerk.
