The owner‘s mom lives down the hill and, although she doesn’t speak a lot of English, she was thorough in welcoming us and Showing us how to use the kitchen, etc. She had a crisper drawer full of fresh oranges and lemons and an electric orange juice maker. I did some laundry and hang it out on the line in the evening, and it smelled wonderfully fresh the next……

“This place is amazing! We got to use two different places and they were both amazing! One was on the ground floor and the other second floor. Amazing view from both! This place is close to two markets, two beaches and an easy walk to town. We walked to “the rock” twice, there is a bus that takes you up the road but it is safe and walkable too. There are three amazing little swimming holes along the walk to the ancient city so take your bathing suit! Bring tennis shoes for walking in the ancient……

“Everything was as described. It was beautiful and the location was perfect. We were warmly welcomed by Mara. I hurt myself hiking during our stay and Mara got me ice and offered to take me to the hospital and the owner checked in on me and brought me an ice pack. We didn’t expect to need assistance during our stay and it was great to feel so well taken care of.”
