“An amazing, interesting house which you will love, especially if you have a sense of history, and enjoy staying in a place that is different from all the rest. Our room was clean, cosy and warm with a lovely view of the garden and of the countryside. The breakfast looked and tasted very good. We hope to return in the near future as we had such a lovely time.”

“Property as described. Excellent location by the harbour and close to town, but also very quiet. Secure parking. The property was well equipped, clean with a thorough file on the property and how to use everything available. Dog friendly and being ground floor made access easy. Would recommend and we would stay again. ”

“Lovely property in stunning location with lovely touches-Prosecco, cake, “emergency meal”, etc My only problem was in terms of getting information about access/key. I think this was because I booked through Hotels.com and the property is principally let through Sykes Cottages so I don’t think anyone would have sent me access information if I hadn’t badgered! Once I got the information it was very straightforward.”

“This has a lovely view of the harbour and is great if you just want somewhere to make a coffee and use as a base between adventures. Smart TV for the evenings was good so we could pop Netflix on and the leather chair is beautiful to sit in Pillows are SUPER comfortable on the bed and plenty of cushions/blankets if you visit in colder weather. Welsh cakes and milk in the fridge was very appreciated when we arrived from a 4 hour travel Cons - the dining chairs and the deck chairs do not fit a……

“Location was excellent. Property small but perfect for two and very homely. Porthmadog is a lovely place and very convenient to visit other places. Weather was good which was a plus we really enjoyed our stay.”
