“Loved it very much, My friend and I arrived very late in the night, thought it could be a issue to clock-in, while they left us the key in envelope which ensure us to enter the room. The staff are super friendly and nice, the rooms are clean, I would definately recommend this place”

“A wonderful place to spend a night listening to Lake Superior lap the shore and coffee on the private balcony facing the lake. Peaceful and beautiful.”

“This is so close to the ferry and downtown, we could walk almost everywhere. The only thing I would change is there should be a microwave in each room. It was downstairs by the ice machine. I like late night snacks but did not want to go in.my pj's. Otherwise perfect. I would definitely stay there again.”

“This hotel has a nice view of the bay. The breakfast offerings and dining area were good. It is their standard practice to provide housekeeping services only after the third night of the stay, and then they didn't change our sheets. There are a number of restaurants available in nearby Ashland.”

“We only stayed one night because we were passing through. We were upgraded from a cabin to the lake house for no charge because of a booking conflict, so that was very good for us ! Lake house was very roomy , and had lots of character. Some antique furnishings , a full kitchen and laundry, and even two tubs of locally made ice cream in the freezer ! Mainfloor washroom was way too far away away from the bedrooms for our liking , but that would be our only complaint.”

“Gorgeous spaces! Check in was different with no in-person contact, but communication was good and room was easy to access. Elevator was very slow, so we took stairs to the second floor room (all rooms are on the second floor). Beautiful room and bathroom with high-end fixtures. Personal welcome note on the table was a nice touch. Record player and records available was unreal but fun! Breakfast was different from most hotels, but very enjoyable. Bed was SUPER comfortable!”
