“This hotel is steeped in history, and this history is clearly displayed throughout the hotel. There is a really interesting book in the communal area downstairs which is worth looking through. Although the hotel could do with a decor update, it was clean and comfortable, with lots of the original features which added to the character of the building. We didn’t have much interaction with any of the staff, so can’t really comment. The breakfasts we had were really nice and plentiful. There……

“Beautiful grounds. Staff extremely courteous and helpful. The spa was outstanding. Large pools. The outdoor pool was very relaxing. Great breakfast upstairs … large room, lots of windows, attentive wait staff. Evening dinner was extraordinary. Wonderful room, well appointed. The menu was not extensive, but everything quite satisfying and flavorful.”

“Everything we imagined when we decided to go to Sweden for the first time from the America.”

“Mysigt mindre hotell. Fantastisk frukost. Fin utsikt över Siljan o Rättvik. Boka genast!”

“Clean room and all worked. Allowed me to store my bicycle in the room. Quiet room.”

“Sehr schön gelegen. Tolle Atmosphäre Alles wie beschrieben , sehr gutes Preis - Leistungsverhältnis”

“I stayed one brief night. The staff were friendly. The room was clean, 10 minute walk from the train station and 5 to the main street with stores and restaurants. Excellent buffet breakfast.”

The room was poorly cleaned, the beds were uncomfortable, the wardrobe had no shelves to……
