“Das Zimmer ist großzügig und modern eingerichtet. Jedoch die Lage um Urlaub zu machen nicht sehr ansprechend. Sehr nah an den Eisenbahnschienen im Industriegebiet zwischen Fabrikgebäuden. Dann war Samstagabend eine Veranstaltung mit Musik, die war bis in die Nacht, mit geschlossenem Fenster, im Zimmer zu hören (Zimmer war im 1. Stock) Sehr störend auf der Terrasse (Restaurantbereich) stehen Klimageräte durch die ist lautstark ein brummen zu hören.”

“This historic hotel is located in the heart of Appenzell and has a lovely restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. It is a short walk from the train station, is clean and charming and rooms have comfortable beds and bedding. The included breakfast is plentiful and delicious with good coffee :) The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating - when we had to check out very early at the end of our stay, they packed us a delicious lunch to take with us on the train the night before we left……

“Staff were helpful on check in, recommended some places to eat. However not a great deal in the area, Vaduz is a short drive away though. If wanting to stay local there is a good Irish bar who had very good and friendly staff. The location of the hotel itself is on an industrial estate, however parking is easy. Would have liked a kettle in the room to make hot drinks for the morning. Also cleaning didn’t change the towel and only one was provided, it doesn’t dry to quickly in the bathroom.”
