"Very lovely couple and the room was delightful. The big windows meant it was moonlight all night with a full moon and you could see Adam’s Peak from their garden."

"Excellent views from high on hillside.
Important to pay attention to info sent about how to get to hotel - a lot of narrow steep roads.
Nice room and restaurant set-up.

"This place is amazing, the service was exceptional from arrival to departure, staff are very helpful and pleasant. We had Chulan who looked after us during our stay and was very attentive and helpful. This place is old charm but with modern day facilities. The food was excellent with good choices for both breakfast and dinner. I would truly recommend this bungalow if you are ever going to Kandy.

Wewaladeniya King's Temple is just one of the places to see in Kegalle, so why not enjoy the other things to explore during your travels? Stroll along the area's riverfront or simply enjoy its restaurants.
"We have been travelling throughout Sri Lanka staying in hotels for a couple of nights each time, this one was FABULOUS, from the moment you come through the gates, you feel that you're somewhere special, you are then presented with a beautiful turn of century colonial house, the room was HUGE with high ceilings and the biggest antique four poster bed you've ever seen, and matching furniture, the fully modern bathroom is accessed through and old antique door, and the waterfall shower was superb. We dined at the restaurant twice and found the food very good and well priced, we had opted for the continental breakfast, which was again very good, very highly recommended"
"Confortable bed, welcoming staff, in the centre of the city but quiet.
Restaurant has good breakfast, pool area is very small, it wont fit more than 4 or 5 people at a time. Good hotel to explore Kandy."
"The proprietor and our host was "to avoid a pun" MARVELLOUS, the room was lovley and fully equipped, very clean with fully furnished traditional Sri Lankan furniture, bed was HUGE and very comfortable, our host could not do enough to make our few days in Kandy great, we also enjoyed the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast"
"This hotel was one of the nicest I’ve stayed in beautiful surroundings by the river service was amazing. Cleanliness was outstanding. Service in general was perfect."
"The bedroom was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The bathroom was extremely damp and mouldy. Overall abit of a tired hotel. Staff are nice but couldn’t help me much with my issues or questions.
There is a nice pool but a large party playing loud music and drinking had been allowed to sit by the pool so it felt uncomfortable to use the pool when I arrived.
I paid more for a “Mountain View” room but I was told that didn’t really exist so I wouldn’t advise booking that and paying more for it."
"Location is perfect for quick drive to Kandy city center. Staff was very accommodating and made our stay excellent. Special thanks to chef for making so good breakfast "
"It’s a hidden Gem in Kandy. Wow what an amazing and most inspiring and magical boutiques hotel. We had a Beautiful modern room with a fantastic view of the city .
Wish we had another day to spend in this hotel . The staff and manager went out of their way to serve us and beautifully decorated and very homely 👍. Definitely 💯 percent will recommend this magical hotel to my friends and family when they visit Kandy "
