“Very dated property, had some touches to update patches of paint etc, but stood out a mile! Bath hadn’t been cleaned so i wouldn’t shower as you could see difference of clean and dirty! Could hear every conversation in the corridor and the room above/beside! Cups dirty, I had to wash them before we could use, no tea bags or milk, had to ask. No lamp shade and curtains very thin, 4 am awake with light into the room! Check in quick young man on reception helpful, room was ok for the price we……

“A wonderful hotel across the road from the beach. Check in was very easy, the gentleman was happy and informative. The room had everything we needed including a fan, clean, well kept and beautifully simple. Very quiet at night, with a comfortable bed, breakfast was brilliant with multiple choices, cooked quickly and the chef was great. The garden was great especially in the evenings and the bar was reasonably priced. All the staff we met were happy to chat or recommend a place to go. Check out……

“I loved my stay at Torbay Guest house. It is located on a quiet road within a few minutes walk to the beach. The breakfast was amazing and freshly-prepared. James was an amazing host, very friendly and attentive. Near the train station or bus stop. James gave me great recommendations for local places to visit.i walked to Brixham from the guesthouse . The path to there was stunning and alongside the coast. Amazing views and calm. I would definitely look to come and stay here again if I am ever……
