“I booked a private room and it was beautiful and very clean. It was my first time staying in a hostel, and the experience was even better than I expected. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. It does get a bit noisy because of the bar next door, but it wasn’t enough to bother me, was like white noise, almost soothing. “Amazing location with everything one could want within walking distance or a short taxi ride. The only thing I could complain about is the street noise at night, but after renting the AC the second night, everything was perfect. Super clean and everything looks new and we'll kept. “It’s a small room by USA standards, but a great value. My room was clean, the shower hot, AND they offered me an upgrade (I don’t know why). Bonus mirror by the bed! Some noise from other rooms and the bar. It’s in a working neighborhood, but you can walk two blocks to Mercado Santa Rosa for breakfast, fruit, and early dinner. Calle 5 is on the cooperative van route to port attractions: naval museum, Submarine Abtao, and Islas Palominos. It’s an inexpensive urban hotel run by nice, helpful……
