“We liked the fact that the hotel is historic but had modern conveniences. Also a prime factor was the walkability. Everything was literally right there.”

“We stayed here specifically for the outdoor dining area. The restaurant and bar were closed. Room was so tight that we had to coordinate the two of us moving around. Glass shower had no door, sink overflowed easily, AC blew warm… could not recommend.”

“This is a very interesting hotel because the building and grounds are a former asylum. The room doors have small openings that are now sealed, but reveal the former use for observation. The floors are beautiful restored wooden planks about 6 inches wide and very lovely. Everything inside the rooms was well furnished, and the bathrooms are in a pleasant contemporary style. I could not get the online key system to work so we instead picked up traditional electronic key cards from a woman at the……
