“The property is outside Forio and you are heavily dependent on their shuttle schedule, unless you are ready to spend between 40 to 60 euro round trip by taxi. I think they had a shuttle coming back to the property at 7:30 pm and the next one at 11 pm, so before booking really think where you plan to spend time the most. If it is the hotel, then this may be your best option.”

“Staff was excellent very accommodating when it came to helping us plan our excursions! We were treated like royalty everywhere we went on the grounds. Only negative was the AC only got so cool in the room.”

“The short: Good hotel and stellar service with A+ pools. Horrible bathroom vent situation and poor AC.
The long:
Disclaimer - we were in a separate auxiliary area, not in the main hotel. Some of this might be better if you stay in the main building.
-Bathroom vent…there’s no fan in the bathroom. They have a window that can be opened, but there’s also no bug screen. Your choice is to suffer in heat and humidity or let a pile of bugs in.
-The AC is really weak. Our room never got colder than……

“My child and I stayed here for a weekend trip. We found the hotel charming; the staff was helpful, the breakfast was good and the swimming pools are fantastic. Although we had a nice visit and all went well, I had to be overly mindful of my child as the majority of the guests are in the geriatric class. Just something to keep in mind if you have small children.”

“The grounds were beautiful. It is not walkable outside of the hotel so you need to take a bus or get a cab if you do not have a car. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only big issue were the rooms. Ours was very moldy, even the mattresses had mold on them. ”
