“Craigroyston House was a delight. Classically decorated, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was highly organized and delicious with traditional Scottish options plus continental fare. Our host was extremely gracious, kind and full of helpful suggestions on all that Pitlochry had to offer. Highly recommended.”

“Leider war unser erster Eindruck vom Zimmer sehr enttäuschend. Im Zimmer roch es unangenehm muffig, im Fensterbereich war deutlich Schimmel vorhanden, und im Bett befanden sich Haare. Einen solchen Zustand hatten wir bei einem Hotelzimmer nicht erwartet. Die entsprechenden Bilder füge ich der Bewertung bei. Nachdem ich mich an der Rezeption beschwert hatte, reagierte die Mitarbeiterin dort sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie zeigte uns zwei alternative Zimmer, aus denen wir auswählen konnten.……

“The room was very clean and furnishings towels and bedding of good quality. The decor was rather bland maybe a few bright pictures and a colourful throw . The service was faultless at both dinner and breakfast. The food at dinner was very good . Breakfast food was good quality but was very overcooked. We enjoyed our stay.”

“What a fantastic place. Comfy bed, fantastic shower and a nice big tv. Plenty tea, coffee, biscs and bottles of water in the room. Added bonus, the breakfast room is set up with same level of refreshments, all day, much appreciated after a walk up from the town in the evening. It said in the write up with Expedia that only a continental breakfast is included, this is not the case, a cooked breakfast is also available. The staff are very friendly and helpful. “The location of the property is a bit tricky to fund but its worth the drive as it's set up overlooking Loch Tay surrounded by sheep farm and mountains. The chalet had everything we needed for our 2 nights. Beds were very comfy! We enjoyed the long walk to the beach, very Scottish, very magical!”
