“Unfortunately, this property did not match the listing. The rental is a basement unit underneath the owners' home with interior stairs connecting the spaces which was not disclosed. The photos solely show the exterior of the house and do not accurately represent the basement entrance, layout, or parking situation. We would not have booked had the listing been more accurate and transparent. The interior door connecting the unit to the main house only has a lock on the homeowners' side, with no way……

“The property was accurately described. It was nice. I ended up changing my travel plans and adding a day to arrive sooner and requested to drop the last day but the host wouldn’t accomodate a request made a week prior and I was still charged $800 for the last night I didn’t use. The bedding was mediocre at best. Pillows were very poor quality, as were the sheets and covers. Overall an ok stay, prices were very high parents weekend everywhere. No cable.”

“Falsely advertised how many people could sleep in the house. The only bed had bodily stains and hairs all over the sheets. The towels were dirty with makeup and other stains. Disgusting and unacceptable. Unbelievably, the Velvet Ditch refused to give any refund. Thankfully, Vrbo protects their clients. I strongly recommend avoiding any Velvet Ditch property after seeing how their management operates.”

“We enjoyed our stay. However, the kitchen was not good. The microwave door was cracked, the oven was dirty and the dishwasher was difficult to use. The bottom rack did not fit so we had to load dishes with the rack pushed all the way in. I did not understand that there was no outside space when I booked it. There was a small porch on the front with 2 chairs. It wasn’t very useable for all of us.”
