Great for families
This house and grounds is made for families, it is
spacious both inside and out, with good sized bedrooms and open plan living areas. The children and grandchildren loved all the technology and lighting features and especially loved the gorgeous pool. All of us enjoyed the pool and hot tub, indoor pool table, table tennis and badminton.
This place has many attributes for a great family holiday, small downsides were the age of some of the equipment in the house( the oven was far too small for a house of 12) and some poor maintenance which was sad for such a great place. The hosts only speak French so be warned and although very accommodating and quick to respond to problems, if I hadn’t been reasonably good at the language it would have been very difficult when the storms cut power and we had to restart boilers and sort outages from poor EDF supply. The host was on holiday when we arrived and only sent his teenage daughter and mum to show us all the equipment and technology and again only in French. This was fine for the kids who could work out all the gadgets easily but some of the basic kitchen equipment wasn’t explained properly until I walked around with the host on the hand back day and discovered I had other equipment available that obviously the young girl didn’t know about, quite frustrating for a Cook.
However it didn’t spoil a brilliant holiday in a great house which I would recommend to a largish family.
