“The listing says you will have the entire home. Description later down it calls it an apartment. The heading should say Basement Apartment NOT Entire home. I requested a refund or even partial but the host refused.”

“This place was... underwhelming. We were grateful for the air conditioning that worked really well and a comfortable bed. However, the place could use a deep cleaning and fresh paint, and we were concerned by the lack of mattress protector on the bed, mildew on the shower curtain, and what appeared to be a mouse dropping on one of the chairs. The host was very responsive with information at booking and for check in, and it was nice to have a separate entrance.”

“Place was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Host had everything we needed for our stay and communication was prompt. Would visit again.”

“Accommodation was not suitable. We did not stay. Doors needed repair, were not able to be locked. Interior suite door could be easily pulled open. Exterior door had been previously popped open (likely with a crow bar)Internal door did not meet the floor. Could hear and see other occupants with the 2” gap. When we arrived there was no working smoke detector or carbon monoxide detector. When we brought this up, the owner asked if this was necessary equipment, or if we could wait until the next day……

“Apartment was clean but very cold. Mohammad was great. A couple of recommendations I would suggest would be room darkening curtains in bedrooms, bedside lights and a toaster!”
