“Best kept secret in Scotland. Karolyn and Chris were fantastic hosts. We spent 1 night here but wish we had spent the other 9 nights here as well. Beautiful property and most comfortable bedding I’ve had outside my own home (including 4-star hotels). The breakfast was 5-star worthy. Worth the lodging price alone!! I told them they should charge more - I will figure out how to tip them…”

“I spent five days at the lodge. The staff is excellent. Most have been working at the lodge for 20+ years. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and bathroom was small but functional. I appreciated being able to open the windows at night for fresh air. The pub is first rate. I strongly suggest having breakfast there. Room clean, only negative feedback is lack of surface space. Room was a good size and very clean. I would stay again. Grandson loved the hotel.”

“The advertising was very misleading. Expected a B&B with breakfast. When we arrived there was a note on a desk explaining the 2 plastic wrapped croissants and open items in the fridge were the breakfast. Room had a musty smell, bed and pillows are in need of replacement.”
