This is a place to base an Alaska Vacation
This property gave us everything we needed to explore Alaska and more. Check in and WiFi connection was a breeze thanks to a super responsive host instructions. The kitchen had every possible item needed for making complete meals if wanted. The bedrooms have great beds in them; loads of hangers and drawer space..although having the large capacity washer and dryer , I could have halved my suitcase load. Nice touches like boot trays for hikers or snow gear; a large filtering water jug in the fridge and more. If we could have brought the shower back home with us, we would have! Great pressure, various spray options and loads of towels. The host was very responsive in answering questions about places to see and try. Offering her knowledge and experience without any pressure, a wonderful level of personable and professionalism. We would love to go back and see more of Alaska, with more family in tow. I'll rent this apartment without any reservations. The neighborhood is eclectic but we had no problem with parking or folks. Close enough to downtown without having to be there all the time, which is our preference. You will need a car for exploring...which we already knew and planned for accordingly.
