“The neighbor hood is very nice. We walked up and down the street and stopped for ice cream. Wish we would have got to eat at the Mexican right across the street. The house is awesome! Betty was great and even set up a cot for an extra bed. The house had everything we needed. We loved the history of the house and enjoyed staying in an older home that was perfectly maintained. The only suggestion is maybe bring a sleep mask because the street light is by the house. I would recommend this house for……

“We loved this property. It was perfect for the two of us and our two small dogs. The property was the cleanest pet friendly place we have ever stayed. It is conveniently located to the touristy places we wanted to visit. The hosts, Betty and Jerry, were very friendly. They were helpful with restaurant recommendations.The property had everything that we needed from free WIFI to excellent parking to any forgotten toiletries.We highly recommend this property!”

“We needed a 1 level home for a getaway to visit one of our favorite vineyards, Jolo, which was only 3 minutes away. I was on crutches with a broken ankle, and this home met my needs perfectly. Clear access to all areas if the home. A perk--when we arrived, there was a deer in the backyard--such a beautifully peaceful setting!”

“I have stayed in a lot of different homes and can't always give a 5 star rating but this homes deserves more than 5 stars. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and Betty would check to see if we needed anything. We sat out on the carport watching the rain and storm and it was BEAUTIFUL. I would absolutely recommend this home to my family and friends. I will be going back down to Mount Airy and will plan my trip to stay here again.”

“The space was clean and tidy and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe. It made for a comfortable weekend stay as all of downtown was within walking distance. I had come for hiking so I was not around too much but the space had everything I needed, including parking in front of the home. If you are looking for something super high end this is not for you. It is comfortable, down-to-earth, and cute. You will have to climb a flight of stairs to get to the property and there is a large step……
