“Sir Whelk-A-Lot is a lovely beach house conveniently located in the downtown area. Our hosts made us feel very welcome. The house provides most things you need for your stay. The beach decor throughout the house makes the house a fun place to relax and enjoy the beach.”

“Perfect location to walk to Seacrets down the road and to Fagers Island right next door. Some suggestions to finish the renovation process- change out the thermostat, it just was a dial to show colder or warmer and we woke to temps at either too warm or too cold, put in a ceiling fan with light in the bedroom because it was so dark with just low lit lamps on side of bed, better screens on patio door, add a full length mirror somewhere. For the most part it was exactly what we needed. Loved the……

“Great location, easy check in, very clean, well decorated”

“My experience at this home was absolutely outstanding. The house has amazing views. It is clean, comfortable and stocked with everything you could need. We spent so much time outdoors, enjoying the screened in porch, the dock and the kayaks. You are close enough to local attractions while still secluded enough to enjoy the nature around you. David, the host, is wonderful. He accommodated us with a special request. His communication is top notch. I highly recommend Casa Blue Heron (and we……

“The location was central with a deck out on the marsh, which was lovely. The pool seemed well kept and was nice. It was clean and the communication with the hosts was quite good. The smart TVs didn’t really work and could only work with live tv. No apps worked. Overall, though, would stay again.”

“We had a mommy-daughter mini-getaway to celebrate her 9th birthday! The area is very walkable, but also easy to drive and navigate the rest of the island. Our room was clean, as advertised, and the perfect place to relax, eat, and recharge. We loved the pool! The check-in/check-out process was very easy.”

“The cottage location is great for golf, less than 20 minutes ride to most courses. Also dining in Berlin is better than traffic to Oean City.”

“The whole stay was excellent and the property was in an excellent location. Surprisingly quiet considering the proximity to restaurants and activities.”

“Very pleased with the location and unit itself. Right next to the steps but luckily my son wasn’t bothered. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely choose to stay again. My only complaint is with chincoteague as a whole - way too many flies and mosquitoes. ”

“Nice and quiet place to stay. The staff were nice. Close to the beach and many restaurants/stores. I’d stay there again. Things to know. No USB ports next to the bed. Take long charging cables and cubes. Parking isn’t very much or clear so you kind of make parking yourself. GPS had us turn into a gas station where it looks like maybe a road was before. Just turn at light on Maddox St. Enjoy it!”
