“This is THE spot to be when visiting Chalchuapa. My family and I stayed here for a week, and were welcomed by a very attentive and inviting duo; Toney (the host) and Noe (the property manager). They were quick to respond any inquiries we had. The house is well-stocked with most of the essentials. El Salvador is hot all year round, but this place has you covered with air conditioning! “The cabin itself is beautiful, peaceful, and very relaxing. However, I do wish the road leading to the cabin had been explained more clearly. The road is unpaved and has a lot of rocks, making it extremely difficult to drive up if you have a low car.Unfortunately, we also were unable to sleep in the bedrooms because we could hear rats throughout the night. We also found rat droppings underneath the beds, which I believe should be addressed as soon as possible for the comfort and safety of future……

“Overall the room was charming. I was traveling with a diabetic so we needed a refrigerator in the room. The room had everything except a fridge. That was the only missing comfort. I had nowhere to store the insulin in a cold place. Had to use an ice box to keep insulin cold. But the room was cute and comfortable. If you do not need a fridge. This is a very frugal stay. Parking was very convenient. Overall good 👍 for the price.”
