Bait and Switch comes to mind — I thought I booked Hard Rock & ended up at Showboat. Beware of a company called CozySuites.All correspondence about the reservation stated, “Hard Rock and Oceans Casino”. CozySuites claim I should have known it wasn’t at Hard Rock because the address they gave was for Steamboat. Deceptive. Streamboat definitely wasn’t the same caliber as Hard Rock: carpet in lobby taped together, the elevators were filthy and made awful noises to the point some other person refused to get in it because she was afraid.
Once in the unit, regret was immediate: two measly lights for the kitchen/living room area, walls everywhere were dirty and scuffed or spackled and not painted or spackled and painted over, 2 of the 3 bedside lamps in one bedroom had a broken switch so the bulbs were just unscrewed.
In the other bedroom one lampshade was scribbled on in marker. Furniture in both bedrooms was shoddy and were either scratched up or had water stains that puffed up the top of the furniture.
Shower water had mad rust when the water was first turned on. Bathroom mat ripped down the middle. Toilet seats were worn and peeling. Most of the towel hooks/hand towel holders were broken with no holders/hooks. Mold on caulk in bathrooms. Wallpaper peeling.
When I reported these issues no refund was offered and was told that they would report issues to “the team to ensure improvements are made”.
