“We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay.”

“We didn't see a soul. Check in was using a safe box to collect the key. Check out was dropping the key into a safe box. Room was clean and pleasant though and we had everything we needed.”

“DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. The phone number listed is out of service and there is NO WAY to contact anyone at this property, as it is managed by a third party. I booked 2 nights, tried to get ahold of someone to give us keys and instructions on how to check in and the phone number doesn't work. I contacted the property through Expedia and the management company got back to me 36 hours later. In the meantime, we had to drive 40 minutes out of Inverness to even find a hotel for the first night and……

“We loved our stay in Nairn at this property. So many positive things to say. The location is perfect. We were able to walk to the beach in 5 minutes, and walking into the middle of the Main Street area was about 10 minutes. We enjoyed eating at Classroom Bistro. The home has so much space to move around with a large kitchen and full size washer/dryer. There's a very convenient outdoor hose to shower off your feet when returning from the beach. “Beautiful home in a tiny village. Very comfortable for three couples. Nice touches from the management. Tea cakes, shortbread, cereal, and milk were nice and welcoming. There was a nice personal greeting sign. Perfect.”
