Awakino is 5minutes from Mokau, 1minute walk to Awakino River, and the Hotel across the road which has delicious meals. 2minute drive to the stunning beach for a swim and a fish. For many years Awakino has lacked in cellphone reception HOWEVER, now the small coastal town has full reception for Vodafone, Spark mobile and 2 degrees, Come and enjoy a family holiday at the beach or have a crack at some Whitebaiting, This Bach offers relaxation

We had a great stay here - it was comfortable, clean and tidy and had all the necessities. We enjoyed utilising the lounge space as we played board games. It was easy to find and accurate to the online listing. Jenny was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Thanks Jenny for the great time away in Awakino

Good house for a large group
This house has a large living area and kitchen and can sleep at least 8. There were only 2 of us on an overnight stay. The pub across the road is great for a drink and/or meal. We enjoyed an afternoon in the company of locals in the beer garden.
