Breakfast was tasty too. I would recommend anyone to stay here, I know I’ll be coming back here when I’m next in Ayr. Thank you all at the Lochinver Guesthouse!”

“By far the most imamculate and well-looked after apartment I've ever stayed in. Everything was thought of: there was tea & coffee, fresh towels, blankets, washing up liquid, soap, crockery, cooking utensils. There were instructions for everything, and plenty of tips/ideas, as well as local food menus & recommendations, in the info folder. The beds were extremely comfortable, and there were plenty of sockets throughout the apartment. There were board games, books, and local guidebooks. The……

“Really nice room. Bathroom was lovely (some hairs in sink when we arrived, but not that a big deal). There was a wedding on in the hotel, with music heard thumping in our room until quite late (we’re not killjoys, but it was impossible to sleep and very loud). It would have been good to know this when booking, as we would have looked elsewhere. Called down to ask reception and they were dismissive and a bit rude. Also loud music heard in room in the morning as well.”

Area is OK, lots of free parking right outside the door, a Chippy next door but one, Bakery across the road and a few little corner shops only minutes away with Ayr town centre only 5 minutes walk away. The place is a ground floor flat in a converted house with a double bed (a very comfy bed), sitting area with a good kitchen and clean bathroom. Will definitely used……
