"Absolutely beautiful scenery and very close to Berchtesgaden hiking, lake and other points of interest. The room itself is spacious and very modern, in contrast to the outside of the hotel which looks like most of the charming and traditional Alpine houses that are common to the region. "The rooms were simple but clean. Something happened with our reservation so instead of the one larger room we reserved they gave us two joined rooms. This was fine but we were charged the city fee per room - so two charges - which is a little annoying since we didn’t book two rooms and that was an error on their end. Also, breakfast was a a charge for adults and free for children. But my husband and I don’t eat breakfast so the kids were not allowed to either, so that didn’t apply for us. They had the best self-serve luggage storage lockers we took advance of and it was great. The hotel was very near the train station and about a 15 min walk to the city center. "
