“Rachel’s Place is a unique cottage, with everything you could need. We happened to occupy the cottage directly during the terrible national storm. Since no one was registered to stay immediately after us, we extended our stay by one day to allow the road conditions to improve somewhat. It took eleven hours to return home, but we made it without incident. We absolutely loved Rachel’s place and hope to return sometime. “We gave each of our grandkids an 'experience' for this past Christmas and our one grandson wanted to fish the Tennessee River. He and my husband, plus two very close family friends went for a 'guys' trip and they had a blast! The house had everything needed, the beds were comfortable, the dock was right there on the property, and the host was amazing and responded to any questions that we had. The lake is so beautiful and the marina just across the way were very easy to work with! Overall, 10!……
