"We had a wonderful time at Layana. The transportation from Krabi airport was very much appreciated. It was very hot in Thailand while we were there and the pool was great, we spent hours around it and in it. We rented a scooter to drive around the island, Traffic was limited and we felt safe driving them around the island, Layana recommended the Turtle Beach resort for dinner and it was very good. Our room was very large"

Low tides are extreme, so swimming is limited to high tide. Note that none of the resort restaurants have AC - they are all open-air, so if there is a heat wave, it can be uncomfortable to eat outside, but they do offer room service to your bungalow, which has an AC unit."

Location is beautiful and makes this hotel what it is. Without the view and the perfect dream setting this hotel is average. We would have found it challenging to of stayed here for longer than our chosen time of 4 days due to it being isolated from the rest of the island. But for a short trip to phi phi this is suitable "
