“Two night stay to attend the RSC Theatre, which is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Excellent location to visit the town centre and to enjoy the river. Very helpful, friendly and attentive staff who work long hours. The pub is a little shabby in places, but overall very good. We will be returning (when I’ve saved enough Tesco points!) ”

“Very welcoming on arrival. Room was ideal for two of us , clean and comfortable. Receptionists was very informative about helpful when asking about local area for eating etc . Continental breakfast well worth the money quite a bit of variety .”

“Old building; would prove difficult for disabled as no lifts. For us no problem apart from Room 227 being a distance away from Reception. Room n bed comfortable; we ate out in town which has a fantastic choice of restaurants n pubs. Good base, central location ”

“Enjoyed the hot tub. Delicious full English breakfast 200 yards away at the Burnside Hotel. Great choice of food at the village pub, The Belll. Arrived at check in time of 4pm and had to call the number to get owner to let us into room. Hard to get shower colder, owner let us use upstairs bathroom meant for another (vacant) room instead. Very clean and well kept property. ”

“This was the perfect property for our holiday in the UK. The house was large enough for 3 adults and 2 kids, it was very clean and in excellent condition. The owners even left us a handwritten welcome note with a bottle of wine and chocolates. I can't speak highly enough of this property and recommend it to anyone and everyone!”
