“This property may have been okay for an overnight or maybe two but lacked a lot of the necessities needed for period of time. Shower was a challenge. Unable to communicate with the host do to a country cell phone difference. No WiFi, etc…”

“Don't be fooled by the exterior. Once inside its a wonderful spacious house. Lots of little extras thought of. Automatic lights on stairway and air purifiers. Would not hesitate to stay again when we visit family in Girvan. ”

“Love love love! Dec-2018: Stayed for 2-nts with the family (6 adults and 5 (all under 9yrs) children) and loved the location, space and freedom that Cumnock Knowes afforded us. You can't miss the property as it stands proud on the horizon as you drive south, out of Carsphairn. The woodland that has been removed from around the house would have offered some protection from the elements, but the views from every window were fantastic - hopefully replanting is in the plans for the future. The house……

“The house was an ideal setting to see in the new year. The area has lots of interesting walks and cycling routes. The hosts provided plenty communication ahead of the booking and accomodated for our youngest guest (1 year old). The property could benefit from a few more kitchen essentials (bin bags, dish clothes etc), but this a wasn't major issue. All in all, a really nice stay.”
