I wish they managed the bookings themselves because the communication from the property managers Retreats (via VRBO) was frighteningly terrible, including no emailed info on check-in procedures and a 3 hour delay in response to texts the day of that I sent begging for door code (during a veritable monsoon when it wasn’t safe to be outside). I liked the location and vibe of the place but……
